Abstract

294,882. International General Electric Co., Inc., (Assignees of Allgemeine Electricitõts Ges.). July 30, 1927, [Convention date]. Vapour engines.-To generate power a solution of gas, e.g. ammonia, is heated in a boiler a, the gas or mixture passing to a turbine e. The exhaust passes to a cooling and absorption chamber f. The solution is pumped from the chamber f through a regenerator k to the drum b of the boiler. The surplus water in drum c passes through the regenerator to the chamber f and works a turbine g which in conjunction with a motor i drives the pump h.
