Abstract

270,920. Dunlop, S., (Johansson, J. W.). July 19, 1926. Rotating-tool apparatus; tools. - A polishing- tool consists of a core 1 having spaced flanges 2, 3, 4 thereon in which are radial slots 5, which receive steel &c. polishing-rods 6 pivotally mounted by means of lugs 10 thereon located between the flanges 2, 3. The outer ends of the rods carry polishing-members 11, and the inner ends are pressed by adjustable springs 12 in pockets in a flange 13 on a socket 7 fitted over the core. The socket has a flange 8 opposite the flange 2, and is held in position on the core by a nut 15. The tool may be rotated or reciprocated by a shaft 17.
