Abstract

The present invention discloses a system 200 and an apparatus 100 for throwing a sports object 102 includes a body 110 with a feeding point 120 and a releasing point 130. A plurality of passages 112 structured in body 110 to extend from the feeding point to the releasing point 130. The one or more rotating means 114 are positioned in the body 110 such that a rotating surface 116 of the rotating means 114 extends into at least two passages 112 structured away from each other, wherein the rotating means 114 is adapted for throwing the object 102 received from the feeding point 120 to the releasing point 130 away from the apparatus 100 in one or more direction to achieve desired object delivery from the releasing point 130.

Claims (28)

1. An apparatus 100 for throwing a sports object 102, the apparatus 100 comprising: a body 110 with a feeding point 120 and a releasing point 130; a plurality of passages 112 structured in said body 110 to extend from the feeding point 120 to the releasing point 130 for providing a pathway to the object 102; and one or more rotating means 114 positioned in the body 110 such that a rotating surface 116 of the rotating means 114 extends into at least two passages 112, wherein the rotating means 114 is adapted for throwing the object 102 received from the feeding point 120 to the releasing point 130 away from the apparatus 100 in one or more direction to achieve desired object delivery from the releasing point 130 .
2. The apparatus 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein at least one of the passages 112 is slidable over the rotating surface 116 of the rotating means 114 to vary the direction of the object delivery.
3. The apparatus 100 as claimed in claim 2, wherein the passage 112 is movably connected to the rotating means 114 such that the point of contact of the object 102 in the passage 112 on the rotating surface 116 of the rotating means 114 varies to vary the direction of the object delivery. 27
4. The apparatus 100 as claimed in claim 3, wherein gap between the rotating surface 116 of the rotating means 114 and an inner surface of the passage 112 is variable to receive the object 102 of different sizes.

The apparatus 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the body 110 is detachably connected to a base 150 adapted to enable positioning of the body 110, wherein the base 150 includes a locking mechanism 140, and wherein the locking mechanism 140 is adapted to provide angular adjustment to the body 110 to achieve desired object delivery from the releasing point 130.
6. The apparatus 100 as claimed in claim 4, wherein achieving desired object delivery includes achieving desired spin, swing, direction, trajectory of the object 102.
7. The apparatus 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the body 110 includes one feeding point 120 common for multiple passages 112 with their respective releasing points 130 for delivering the object 102 in different directions.
8. The apparatus 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the body 110 includes one releasing point 130 common for multiple passages 112 with their respective feeding points 120 for receiving the object 102. 28
9. The apparatus 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the releasing point 130 and the feeding point 120 are interchangeable.
10. The apparatus 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the rotating means 114 includes a wheel coupled with a motor 118 to rotate the wheel unidirectionally or bidirectionally, and wherein the base 150 includes a plurality of legs 160 with variable length to achieve desired height to the body 110.
11. The apparatus 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the feeding point 120 is adapted to receive the object 102 by a feeding mechanism 252 from an object storage unit 250, and wherein the feeding mechanism 252 is a manual feeding or an automatic feeding.

A system 200 for throwing a sports object 102, the system 200 comprising: a body 110 with a feeding point 120 and a releasing point 130; a plurality of passages 112 structured in said body 110 to extend from the feeding point 120 to the releasing point 130 for providing a pathway to an object 102; one or more rotating means 114 positioned in the body 110 such that a rotating surface 116 of the rotating means 114 extends into at least two passages 112, wherein 29 the rotating means 114 is adapted for throwing the object 102 received from the feeding point 120 to the releasing point 130 away from the body 110 in one or more direction; a controller 190 configured to receive an input from a user to achieve desired object delivery from the releasing point 130; and a memory unit 212 adapted to store the input.
13. The system 200 as claimed in claim 12, wherein at least one of the passages 112 is slidable over the rotating surface 116 of the rotating means 114 to vary the direction of the object delivery.
14. The system 200 as claimed in claim 13, wherein the passage 112 is movably connected to the rotating means 114 such that the point of contact of the object 102 in the passage 112 on the rotating surface 116 of the rotating means 114 varies to vary the direction of the object delivery.
15. The system 200 as claimed in claim 14, wherein gap between the rotating surface 116 of the rotating means 114 and an inner surface of the passage 112 is variable to receive the object 102 of different sizes.

The system 200 as claimed in claim 12, wherein the body 110 is detachably connected to a base 150 adapted to enable positioning of the body 110, wherein the base 150 includes a locking mechanism 140, and wherein the locking 30 mechanism 140 is adapted to provide angular adjustment to the body 110 to achieve desired object delivery from the releasing point 130.
17. The system 200 as claimed in claim 16, wherein achieving desired object delivery includes achieving desired spin, swing, direction, trajectory of the object 102.
18. The system 200 as claimed in claim 12, wherein the body 110 includes one feeding point 120 common for multiple passages 112 with their respective releasing points 130 for delivering the object 102 in different directions.
19. The system 200 as claimed in claim 12, wherein the body 110 includes one releasing point 130 common for multiple passages 112 with their respective feeding points 120 for receiving the object 102.
20. The system 200 as claimed in claim 12, wherein the releasing point 130 and the feeding point 120 are interchangeable.
21. The system 200 as claimed in claim 12, wherein the rotating means 114 includes a wheel coupled with a motor 118 to rotate the wheel unidirectionally or bidirectionally, and 31 wherein the base 150 includes a plurality of legs 160 with variable length to achieve desired height to the body 110.
22. The system 200 as claimed in claim 12, wherein the feeding point 120 is adapted to receive the object 102 by a feeding mechanism 252 from an object storage unit 250, and wherein the feeding mechanism 252 is a manual feeding or an automatic feeding.
23. The system 200 as claimed in claim 12, wherein memory unit 212 includes at least any one of a local storage and a cloud storage 214.
24. The system 200 as claimed in claim 12, wherein the controller 190 is coupled with an I/O unit 230 and a display unit 180 for receiving and displaying the input from the user.
25. The system 200 as claimed in claim 12, wherein the controller 190 is communicatively coupled with a user device 220 to receive the input from the user, and wherein the controller 190 is either wired or wirelessly coupled with the user device 220 to receive the input from the user. 32
26. The system 200 as claimed in claim 25, wherein the input received by the controller 190 includes at least any one of controlling speed, spin and direction of the object delivery .

The system 200 as claimed in claim 26, wherein the controller 190 is configured to control the angular adjustment of the body 110 by controlling the locking mechanism 140 based on the input, and wherein the controller 190 is configured to select at least one of the plurality of passages 112 based on the input received from the user for achieving desired object delivery.

The system 200 as claimed in claim 27, wherein the controller 190 is configured to: select the feeding point 120 and the respective releasing point 130 for feeding the object 102 from the object storage unit 250; and control the feeding mechanism 252 for feeding the object 102 from the object storage unit 250 to the feeding point 120. 33
