Abstract

A luggage accessory comprises a tray which attaches to the handles of a suitcase or similar item of luggage, such that smaller items of luggage may be carried on the tray. The tray includes at least two opposing sidewalls which help to prevent items from falling off the tray. In a preferred embodiment the tray includes two opposing sidewalls and a rear wall, the rear wall including resilient clip means which releasably grip the upright telescoping poles of an extendable suitcase handle. The tray is preferably foldable or collapsible using a concertina action. The walls are preferably provided around at least part of the tray perimeter. The attachment means may comprise hook and loop fasteners.

Description

THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to the field of luggage and accessories that will make carrying luggage easier and therefore ultimately safer for everyone. The luggage accessory is a corsitina that is flat packed and easy to store. The corsitina will consist of three sides which turn into a tray once it is set up.The two side panels will be equal in size with a long panel at the back of the tray. The two side panels will slot into the back panel, which will then give you a sturdy tray. At the back of the long panel on the tray there will be two clips that will attach to the handles of a suitcase. The clips will be easy to push onto the suitcase handles.At this point you will find that the tray is light and sturdy, making it easy to hold. Place the tray on top of the suitcase making sure that the two clips are central to the handles of the suitcase. Push the clips forward onto the handles of the suitcase and once attached make sure that they are secure, and check that the tray won't slide off the ease. Your tray is now ready to place your hand luggage inside it.
When people travel they try to balance their hand luggage on top of their cases and then find they slip off the case whilst they are moving it along. They also find that their hand luggage will fall and hang down at the side of the case making it hard to pull the case along. If people carry their hand luggage on their shoulders they also struggle to pull their suitcases along as their hand luggage usually falls off their shoulders. Families also try to juggle children, pushchairs and their luggage.
