Abstract

A method of controlling a space forced convection (air flow) cooling or heating system comprising starting a means of heating or chilling; periodically measuring the temperature of the air (theta) downstream and close to said means of heating or chilling and when theta is less than a predetermined value theta 1 periodically estimating the rate of change of theta with time (dtheta/dt) and when the absolute value of said rate of change of temperature with time (dtheta/dt) is equal to or less than a user preset value (beta 1 ) interrupting the means of heating or chilling.
