Abstract

A razor cutting device comprises a handle B7, a ball and socket joint B11,C1 connected to four arms D1, and a pair of razor blades or blade sets A1 connected to respective pairs of said arms. Preferably, the two sets of blades A1 are disposable and are fixed into a groove (B15, figure 2) on the inner sides of each arm D1 that are connected to the socket C1 in the middle of the frame. A standard razor blade set A1 is preferably used, and typically includes 3 or 4 blades which are exposed between a guard and a cap. The cutting tips of the blades may extend through an opening formed on the top surface of the razor head. The razor blade set is mounted on the arms D1, which allows the razor head to maintain contact with the skin at all times, and yet allows the handle to be rotated above the frame around 360 degrees. The blades are preferably thin, and easily flex to the contour of the head when shaving.

Description

Invention Title
A DOUBLE BLADE SET RAZOR SHAVER
A double blade set razor shaver that provides a close and comfortable shaves and, is design to shave the head. A Standards razors blade set (Al) typically includes three or four disposable blades (A3) which are exposed between a guard and a cap. Each blade (Al) is rigidly fixed relative to one another and is exposed close to the skin-engaging contact during shaving. (Al) The length of each Blade is approximately 3.7cm and has a width of approximately 0.1 cm. The blades (Al) and are also durable and can be used several times before their edges are worn and need replacing. A light, plastic housing (A3) except for the steel blade therein comprising a plastic cover, (A3) a guard plate, a steel blade between said guard plate and side cover (A3), a guard edge (A8) placed between the blade end that joined to said the guard cap. The blade housing or casing (A3) is in a single unit that is strengthening by a metal strip on either side of the casing.
The blades (Al) are place relative to each other and also flexing when pressure is applied during shaving. The length of the metal strip (A6) is approximately 1cm long and has a width of 0.4cm wide. The bottom surface of the plate is approximately 4cm long and 1cm wide, this surface area extending along the bottom of the plane that make's the bottom surface area. The first section (A5) is a front piece of black plastic at the front of the blade set (A5). Directly beneath is the lubricating strip (A4) and is directly fixed beneath the front plastic. This tin non-flexible lubricating strip (A4) aid's the shaving process and giver a more comfortable feeling when shaving. The second lubricant strip (A4) is a stretchable elongated rubber member that has lines running the length of the rubber strip but is able to flex when pressure is applied and stretch across the length of the blade (Al) area, and is fixed rigidly on the opposite side of the first lubricating strip. The blades sets (A3) are attached to their appropriate arm (Dl) that is supported by the frame or the rounded ball socket and is connected on either side of the blade set hangers or peg (D2). The arms or blade holder (Dl) are approximately 4cm long and has locking grooves on the inner side at each end of the arms. The arms (Dl) are twisted in style and are made from the same aluminum material as the frame (Cl) and the handle (Bl). The handle (Bl/B7) is approximately 14cm long, 1cm wide and 1cm in depth. At the end of the handle are slightly raised patterns on top and underneath that enable the user a better support when shaving or changing to a more suitable locking position. There are three rubber pattern (B8) engrave in to the handle and are place approximately 2cm apart. The width of each rubber pattern (B8) is approximately 1cm in length at the top and 1.5cm long at the bottom. The width of the patterns on the side set in a wing like position. These patterns (B8) slightly measure out form the handle that is connected in the socket or frame and are approximately 0.2cm in depth. The end of the handle (B1l) is rounded. The rounded ball end (Bll) is fix in to the socket inner grooves and is able to rotate 360 digress and have four locking position. On the outer surface of the ball (Bll) there is a 1mm raised rounded surface (B16) that goes around the ball (Bli) width 1mm and a depth of 1mm that fits within in the inner grooves of the socket (Cl). This inner groove that accommodates the 1mm raised surface on the ball (Bll) allows the handle to rotate 360 degrees and operate like a baring wheel. There are 2 to 4 small steel ball are nabs (B13) set in the raised surface of the rounded ball end. The holes (B15) also accommodate a spring (Bl4) that applies pressure that secure the handle in position. The fobs (B13) are small steel ball that is design to move freely with in the holes (B15) that accommodate the spring. The holes (B15) are approximately 2mm in diameter and 2mm in depth. When pressure is applied e.g. rotating the handle (B1). The spring (B14) is position and pressed into the hole behind the nob hence creating the pressure that is needed to lock the handle (Bi) in to position. The steel ball (B13) will locked in to position when comes in contact with the smaller holds on the inner side of the socket grooves, enough to secure the handle in position. The spring (B14) are approximately 0.5cm long and are press in side the holes (B15) and applies constantly pressure to the ball (B13) pushing it out words. The handle (B1) is attach in the middle of the frame and is design to rotate in the socket (Cl) that is connected to the arms (Dl) in middle of the frame, 360 Digress in a circler motion. There are 4 lock position feature on either side of the socket (Cl) and the ball (Bli) this feature allow the user to quickly reset a second desired direction of the razor blade heads (Bi) and resume shaving in a different direction e.g. in a forward direction. The groove (B15) on the inner side of the socket (Cl) is made by cutting a circular groove right around the socket (Cl) on the inside. The groove (B15) depth is approximately 1mm and width 1mm. The width of the handle is 1cm and the length is 14cm long. The handle (Bi) is made from aluminum material. The socket (Cl) that houses the handle (B1) and is connected to the arms (Dl) is made from the same aluminum material. The arm (Dl) has locking grooves or holes ((B15) on the inner side at the bottom ends of the each arm (Bi). The frame is design to accommodate the disposable blades (A3) plain or blade sets. The blade housing (A3) are approximately 4cm to 5cm apart with the handle (Bi) in the middle as shown. Each arm (Bi) on the inner sides has a cut groove that allowed the blades hangers (A2) to slide in to position. These cut grooves enable the blades to be lock in position and allowing pivoting back words and forwards motion of the blade (A3) on their hangers on either ends. Each blade holder (Dl) will accommodate a blade set (A3) with a quick release feature that will enable the user to press and release the disposable blade sets (A3). The blade hanger (A2) is a small peg extending out from the side of the blade casing (A3) on either ends. The hanger is approximately 0.2cm long and approximately 0.2cm in width and is made from the same material as the casing (A3). The logo, Knight's Blade (B2) words are pressed in the middle of circle at the end of the handle (B1) and is color in burgundy red (B18). The circle is approximately 2.5 to 3cm long and approximately 1 to 1.7cm in width and is slightly raised on top of the handle (Bi) (B7). The slight raised of the logo is approximately 1 to 3mm in depth. With in the circle (B17) is a black paint color (B18) that surround the letters that forms the products name Knight's Blade. The paint colors (B18) black and burgundy red are standard paints color that is design to bines well with aluminum metal, and is commonly used in the paint industry. The coloring and twisted arms are part of the styles that gives the product it unique looks and features. The devices also has an advantage with its longer reaching handle (B1) (B7) that allows the user a firm grip and makes those hard to reach areas behind the head now possible. On like other standard shaving razors with shorter handles Knight's Blade with its 14cm long handle give a better advantage when shaving the head. Also, the unique rotation of the handle allows the user to comb back words or forwards words direction enabling both blades to cut simultaneously when shave hence better results at all time. z
