Abstract

Protective headwear, in the form of a hood, that protects the wearer from the ingress of dust and dirt that could cause irritation to the wearer. Preferably the hood has a skirt/apron that covers the shoulders of the wearer to prevent dust and dirt etc. entering the neck area of the wearer. In addition the hood may have elasticted supports around the neck area and the head of the hood. The hood may have goggles/visor and a valved respirator mask. The mask has a loose fit to provide good ventilation and comfort and prevents the goggles/visor of the hood from steaming up. The hood may be constructed from a breathable material, preferably a paper like material.

Claims (1)

  1. Claims Protective Headwear Protective headwear comprising the means to
    prevent the ingress of irritants to the head and neck. It is constructed from strong, breathable paper-like materials with appropriate elasticized supports.
    This all-in-one item incorporates a clear plastic vision panel and a valved respiratory mask in a whole head hood with a yoke collar.
