Abstract

A trolley for moving large sheets of metal, wood, plasterboard, doors, folding tables etc. comprises a channel mounted centrally above an axle and pair of wheels, and an upright handle for manoeuvring the trolley when empty. A spring clip may be provided for securing the load in place, said clip being located on an adjustable collar adjacent the top of the handle. A refundable money activated clip and chain may also be provided when the trolley is to be used at DIY supermarkets. When a load is located within the channel the combination of load and trolley may be moved by the user grasping the load.

The handle is for use when the trolley is empty.

For use in D.1.Y. supermarkets, a refundable money insertion clip & chain can be attached.

The advantages of this trolley over existing designs is that ii is very compact requiring less "parking area" for the trolleys. and that they could actually be purchased by the Builder/Public/customer for future use as it is compact enough to go into even a car boot.
