Abstract

A helicopter comprises at least three engines 8, a plurality of doors 5, and a layer of sand 10 in the body of the helicopter which, with the material from which the helicopter is formed, will stop a bullet fired from the ground. Each door may conceal a machine gun or another piece of ordinance, and the engines and the pitches of the rotor blades 7 and rear propeller 11 can be controlled from a cockpit 9. The depth of the sand may be about 30cm (12 inches).

Description

* 2423756 Helicopter The present invention relates to a helicopter and in
particular to a helicopter comprising a layer of sand or particular material to stop bullets The helicopter of the present invention has been described as a very large helicopter with six engine of which only three are shown in the drawing accompanying this specification According to the present invention there is provided a helicopter comprising at least three engines a plurality of opening doors in the side thereof said helicopter comprising a layer of sand which with the material from which the helicopter is constructed will stop a bullet In a preferred embodiment of the invention there is provided a layer of sand, which is about l2inches (3Ocms) thick The invention is now described, by way of illustration only, reference to the accompanying drawings wherein the Figures show a helicopter which is, in essence, like a pair of double- decker buses The invention will now be described, by way of registration only, with reference to the Figures of the drawings Figure 1 shows a side view of a helicopter in accordance with the present invention, Figure 2 shows a front view helicopter in accordance with the present invention and Figure 3 shows a view from above of a helicopter in accordance with the present invention The helicopter in the present invention comprises a front (2) and a back (3) with the wheels (4) for landing thereupon as necessary As is shown in the accompany drawing the engines (8) are supplied with a set of rota-blades (7) A series of doors (5) each concealing a machine gun or other piece of ordnance are disposed in the side and in the front (see Figure 5(1). The doors (5) are repeated on the otherside (not shown) A cockpit (9) is disposed adjacent the engines (8) from which the engines (8) and consequently the pitch of the rota-blades (7) can be controlled as can the rear propeller (11) A layer of sand which is disposed adjacent to the lower portion of the helicopter body (6) adjacent the wheels (4) Taken with the thickness of the material from which the helicopter is formed the sand (10) will stop a bullet fired from the ground towards the helicopter The depth of the sand is about 30cm (1 2inches) There are a number of seats and a toilet for the occupants
