BACKGROUND
It is now very common for mobile phones to be seen as a nuisance especially in public places. Also mobile phones are increasingly being targeted by thieves, as they are seen as an expensive item that is easy to steal. Mobile phones can also be viewed as cumbersome to carry in clothing or pockets. Mobile phones are also increasingly seen as posing a health risk.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION
To overcome this, the present invention proposes a mobile/cell phone and text message alert device that alerts and displays to the user that a call(s) or text message(s) has been sent to his/her mobile/cell phone.
ADVANTAGE S
At the workplace where employees are not allowed to have mobile phones switched on. They can carry the present invention in their pockets, purses/wallets or keep in their lockers, offices or elsewhere on the premises.
At hospitals where use of mobile phones are banned so they do not interfere with medical equipment On aeroplanes the use of mobile phones are banned so they do not interfere with airline equipment.
In bars, restaurants or nightclubs where users do not wish to carry there mobile phones or have them switched on can check their alert device and see if they have any calls or messages.
A relatively inexpensive looking device that is not attractive to thieves and very discreet.
Users can keep the present invention in their purses or wallets or in pockets. It is envisaged that the lightness and ease of carrying the device and the fact that you can be alerted of a call or message in a restricted or social area without interfering with technological surroundings will make the proposed invention an essential mobile phone accessory.
The mobile phone of the user will not always be on the person therefore users may feel that the present invention reduces exposure to mobile phone radiation.
USAGE
Users are alerted by a phone call or text message by a vibration or bleep on the device, or by checking the device at regular intervals.
The device is intended to be used as a phone accessory that links with the users own mobile phone.
Concept of collection and displaying of calls and text messages from a users' own mobile phone to the device is the overriding factor that relates to the patent.
It is envisaged that I will subcontract the patent to develop the product to a technology company or mobile phone company. They will use their knowledge to develop the patent and to make it into a viable product.
NB
Figures are not to scale. It is intended the device to be a similar shape and size to a conventional credit card. The width may be larger due to the battery, unless technology enables the device to function without a battery, Functions keys and areas where displayed may be subject to change during production Key Point Concept of; collection and display of calls and text messages and identity of caller(s) from a users' own mobile phone to the device is the overriding factor that relates to the patent.
It is envisaged I will work subcontract patent to a technology company or mobile phone company to produce the device.
INTRODUCTION TO DRAWINGS
It must be noted that the concept of collection and displaying of calls and text messages from a users' own mobile phone to the invention is the overriding factor that relates to the patent.
Therefore the drawings and design that follow are subject to change but the overriding concept of collection and displaying of call(s) and/or text message(s) and identification of caller(s) from a users' own mobile phone to the invention is the overriding factor that relates to the patent remains the same.
An example of the invention will now be described by referring to the accompanying drawings.
