Abstract

A card, eg for advertising a take-away food menu, has a magnet provided on the reverse side to allow attachment to a refrigerator or other metal object.

Description

DESCRIPTION.
This invention relates to a promotional menu/leaflet as handed out by Pizza Companies. The menus/leaflets are handed out in large quantities but are usually discarded or lost/hidden away in drawers.
An object of this invention is to enable the recipient to keep the menu in a place where it will not be lost or misplaced and will act as a constant reminder of the products and services available on offer.
Accordingly, this invention places a magnet on the reverse of the menu/leaflet which allows it to be placed on the fridge or some other such metal object.
Preferably, the magnetic menu is made from card 200gsm - 400gsm, but it may instead be made from paper of vinyl. The menu can be any size but the preferred dimensions are 175mm x 88mm. The preferred magnet dimensions 61mm x 25mm but so long as the magnet is strong enough to hold the weight of the card, the magnet size is not of great importance. The magnet thickness is once again not of great importance but the preferable thickness is 0.4mm.
A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1: shows a front view of the magnetic menu.
Figure 2: shows the reverse of the magnetic menu with magnet attached.
Figure 3: shows a side view of the magnetic menu.
As shown in the diagram the magnetic menu comprises a card with a magnet attached to the reverse.
