Abstract

A flip-top cigarette pack has a lid hinged on the narrow side which is generally 'S'-shaped and and is designed to enhance and promote a specific brand of cigarettes. The 'S'-shaped lid swings clear to reveal a swallow-shaped or 'S'-shaped inner frame that holds the cigarettes in place and acts as an anchor. The pack is further designed to accommodate a government health warning on a panel comprising 33% of the area of a face of the pack.
