Abstract

A ball has two hemispheres, one 10 smooth the other 12 unsmooth, the rough and smooth hemispheres of the ball will have an effect, when bowled, pitched at speed, of swinging or moving the ball off line of flight A seam 11 may be provided. The rough surface may be formed by pimples, ribs cross latching. <IMAGE>

Description

BETA BALL This invention relates to a beta bail.
The beta ball has two hemispheres stitched about the centre of a core bail One hemisphere smooth and the other pimpled, or ribbed, cross hatched or unsmooth by other design.
The rough and smooth hemispheres of the beta ball will have an effect, when bowled, pitched, at speed in cricket, baseball, other, of swinging or moving the Dall off line of flight.
Refering to the drawing, the beta ball comprises, a core ball 13. Two hemispheres of different textures, one smooth 10 one not smooth I2 and a seam II.

Claims (2)

  1. CLAIMS.
    I The beta ball has one smooth hemisphere, and the other pimpled, or ribbed, cross hatched or smooth by other design.
  2. 2 As claimed in I, the rough and smooth hemispheres of the beta ball will have an effect, when bowled, pitched, at speed in cricket baseball, or other, of swinging or moving the bzll off line of flight.
