Abstract
An alkali fluoride solution is stirred with an alkaline earth carbonate or hydroxide so as to obtain an alkali carbonate or hydrate and an alkaline earth fluoride. The alkaline earth fluoride is dissolved in hydrochloric acid and the solution is treated with sodium chloride and silicon fluoride to obtain alkali silicofluoride. The alkali silicofluoride is heated to obtain alkali fluoride and silicon fluoride which are used again. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) includes a claim for the use of salts of other complex fluorine acids instead of silicofluorides. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.ALSO:An alkali fluoride solution is stirred with an alkaline earth carbonate or hydroxide so as to obtain an alkali carbonate or hydrate and an alkaline earth fluoride.
