Abstract

216,843. Wilson Fastener Co., (Assignees of Wilson, F. E.). June 2, 1923, [Convention date]. Clips, flexible-jaw.-In a lingerie clasp of the type comprising a U-shaped metal strip the limbs of which tend to spring apart and are held closed by a snap-fastener, two pair of projections 17 are formed on the upper limb 10 by cutting and pressing down a portion of the metal of the limb, and two projections 15 are formed centrally on the lower limb 11, one between each pair of the projections 17 so as to kink the material held and prevent its slipping. The projections 17 are made smaller than the projections 15 to avoid weakening the upper limb too much.
