A cooling plate comprises a plate (1) itself made of cast iron, and cooling tubes (2) made of steel and cast inside the body of the plate (1). The cooling tubes (2) are covered with a steel layer (3) provided with ribs (4) oriented across the longitudinal axis of the tubes (2). <IMAGE>
