Abstract

A piston 3 is attached to a screwed spindle which engages a screw-threaded bore in a partition 4 secured in a container. The spindle is hollow and slidable on a square rod 5 attached to a base member 6 which is rotatable to rotate the spindle and so advance the piston in the container to discharge the contents. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Plastic Container with Turn Base Control This invention is a plastic container for holding tooth paste or shaving soap etc. This container is intended to be used once only and then discarded.
It consists of a plastic tube in which is fixed a plate and turnscrew, which is kept in position by an insert with an internal thread, a square rod, which is fixed to the turn base, forces up the contents of the nozzle as the base is turned.

Claim
The object of this invention is to provide a container suitable for holding tooth paste or shaving soap or tomato sauce in the top half and having in the lower half apparatus for moving a piston plate up or down as required by a simple turn of the base to discharge the material.
