Abstract

A toggle lever injection moulding machine comprises two mould carrier plates, 2, 2', one of said mould carrier plates 2 being movably mounted on traverses 1 and linked to a hinge plate by means of a toggle lever mechanism 4. For setting the mould locking force the hinge plate is, by means of a motor 6, adjustable in the longitudinal direction of said traverses 1. A tensometer 7 is provided for one of said traverses, the output of said tensometer being connected with a processing device 8 controlling said motor 6. <IMAGE>
