Abstract

An electronic time reaction game apparatus which may be played by one or more players comprises a pair of opposed player ends and an electronic processing means, such as a microprocessor, located in the housing. Two player actuable response switches and a plurality of player response lights are located at each player end. One of the response switches is forward acting and the other is rearward acting. The microprocessor initiates a game by generating a player ready signal and, after a randomly varying time interval, generates a player start signal. The ready and start signals may be visual or audible or both. The player or players must anticipate the action of the opponent player and select and actuate the proper one of their response switches to maximize their score, and after the start signal, each actuates their selected switches as quickly as possible. The score is depicted by one or more of the lights at the end of the player first actuating the forward response switch and extinctions of one or more lights of the end opposite the player first actuating a rearward response switch. <IMAGE>
