Abstract

A carton has a removable inverted channel section (12-13) defined by lines of weakness (19) which may be torn away to convert the container into an open top display tray having a pair of tall end structures which provide stacking flanges and a pair of opposing low side walls which provide display of the tray contents. Removal is initiated by inserting fingers into holes at each end of a central line of weakness (20) to facilitate tearing along the weakened lines (19 and 20). <IMAGE>
