Abstract

Each of a plurality of colour television frames recorded on a videodisc 103 (one frame per revolution) is read out a number of times and a corresponding sequence of black and white different colour separation images derived therefrom is displayed at 104 and recorded in cine film 107. In a first embodiment, three separation images at 104 are transmitted by appropriately coloured filter sections 112-114 of a wheel for recording on the same frame of colour film 107, a blank sector 111 of the wheel enabling film pull down during a fourth frame. In a second embodiment, the separation images are recorded on sequential frames of monochrome film 107. <IMAGE>
