[Addition to 11,898/11.] Magnetic separators.-The containing-vessel t, instead of being provided with a single magnetic field as described in the parent Specification, has several magnetic fields arranged helically. so as to utilize the entire external surface of the containing-vessel. The slime is supplied through a rose m over a cone l to volute guidechannels k, from which the slime passes with a helical motion to the helical fields. The magnetic particles are discharged through a pipe i, and the non-magnetic particles through a pipe h.
