Abstract

7326. Salmons, G. March 26. Folding and collapsible seats.-An auxiliary seat for motor-cars and other vehicles is adapted to fold up into a box, the lid of which then forms a footboard or part of the floor of the vehicle. The back legs of the seat 9 are in two parts 4, 6, the lower of which are hinged at 7 within the box 1. The ends 14 of the front legs 3 enter keyhole slots, or are otherwise secured to the box lid 2, the legs being folded crossways.
