Bats; golf clubs; hockey sticks.-The blade or head a of a bat, golf club, hockey stick, or similar implement for recreative purposes is hollowed or dished out, and a network d of gut, string, twine, wire, or other material is secured over the hollow. Instead of being hollowed out, the blade may be provided with a peripheral rim. The handle of the bat is made comparatively long and is adapted to be grasped by both hands.
