Abstract

1511818 Electronic watches DAINI SEIKOSHA KK 27 Sept 1976 [1 Oct 1975] 40012/76 Heading G3T A digital electronic timepiece has a ring counter 12 controlled by a manually operable switch 10 so as selectively to generate four time zone signals corresponding to the four time zones of the U.S.A. The ring counter output is used to control the selection of one of four legends, in display 14, to indicate the selected zone, and is passed via a de-coder 15 to an adder 16 where it is added to the signal from an hours counter 9 to provide the appropriate hours display at 18. If the addition produces a total greater than twelve, twelve hours are subtracted. Suitable adder circuitry is des- cribed Fig. 2, (not shown).
