Abstract

1506395 Ball game P MAGAURAN 8 Aug 1975 [20 Aug 1974] 36513/74 Heading A6D Balls are impelled (e.g. using a golf club) towards a sheet 15 of yieldable material (e.g. canvas or netting) carrying ball-receiving pockets 21, to which are assigned scoring values. Each pocket may be secured to the periphery of a circular hole in the sheet 15. A circular array of six such holes plus a single central hole (Fig. 1-not shown) may be provided. Alternatively, sheet 15 may be formed with no circular holes, the pockets then each comprising a piece of netting secured along its periphery (except its upper edge) to the front of sheet 15, a target disc being provided above each pocket. The sheet is held by top and bottom rods 11 and 12, which are held apart by removable resilient rods 13. Stays 17 releasably connect with rod 11.
