1489308 Coated products SCOTT PAPER CO 10 March 1975 [18 March 1974] 9922/75 Heading B2E [Also in Division G2] A planographic primary plate blank comprises an oleophilic substrate, e.g. aluminium coated with an oleoliphilic resin or paper or plastics material, an intermediate layer of a laser-responsive material containing particles, e.g. carbon which absorb laser energy, a binder which oxidises on exposure to laser beams e.g. nitrocellulose, and a crosslinkable resin e.g. a novolak, and a cross linking agent, and a layer of ink-repellant silicone rubber.
