1485780 Vehicle wheel rims KRONPRINZ AG 6 Dec 1974 [14 Dec 1973] 52766/74 Heading B7C The bead seats 2 of a one-piece drop-centre vehicle wheel rim merge at their axially inner edges in to the well 3 of the rim except at three or more circumferentially spaced locations in each of which each seat 2 merges into a radially outwardly directed projection 4 for preventing displacement of a tyre bead on the seat into the well. The radially outer surface 5 of each projection 4 may slope towards the well at an angle α of at least 5 degrees, and part of the axially outer surface of each projection may slope axially and radially outwardly at an angle # as shown.
