Abstract

1480206 Optical fibres BICC Ltd 28 May 1976 22313/76 Addition to 1479426 Heading G2J The optical fibre cable of the parent Specification is modified in that two reinforcing members 3 are embedded in the elongate body 4, one on each side of the optical fibre - carrying bore 2, and the body 4 has a central portion 6 of reduced width in a direction perpendicular to the plane passing through the axes of the bore 2 and the reinforcing members 3. The cable may include more than three members 3, each two of which are separated by at least one bore 2 and the portion of the body 4 around each bore 2 being of reduced width.
