Abstract

1472926 Manufacturing colour television tubes RCA CORPORATION 1 May 1974 [2 May 1973] 19034/74 Heading H1D A refractive device (used for correction in the exposure of photo-resist in the course of producing a colour television luminescent screen) includes a layer 22 of a silicone resin which will not decline in transmittance when used with ultra violet light in the 290-400 nm. wavelength range. The silicone resin can be supported on a glass plate 20. The effective surface of the layer 22 can be discontinuous as shown or continuously curved, Fig. 1 (not shown). In the former case the discontinuities can be masked, the masks being on a glass plate spaced from the device, Fig. 3, on the discontinuity surface, Fig. 4, embedded in the resin, Fig. 5, or at the interface of the resin and glass, Fig. 6 (none of these figures shown here).
