Abstract
1471160 Radiation measuring apparatus COMMISSARIAT A L'ENERGIE ATOMIQUE and INSTITUT NATIONAL DE LA RECHERCHE AGRONOMIQUE 22 Aug 1974 [24 Aug 1973] 36872/74 Heading G1A [Also in Division G2] An apparatus for measuring solar radiation comprises a sheaf of optical fibres 10 spreading out from a flat base 12 below which means 16 for measuring radiation is disposed, and a curved surface of revolution 14 for exposing to the radiation. The surface 14 may be convex or concave, the arc subtending an angle of 47 degrees, or it may comprise a hemi-spherical cap having its base parallel to the surface 12, see Fig. 4, (not shown).
