Abstract

1456051 Feeding sheets SITAV SpA SOC INCREMENTO TURISTICO ALBERGHIERO VALDOSTANO 4 Sept 1974 [28 Sept 1973] 38677/74 Heading B8R Playing cards are separated simultaneously from two piles 40 and 41 by friction means (e.g. rollers 38 and 39) and delivered to an outlet slot 17. The piles are contained on edge in a removable magazine 42 and are urged towards the end wall 44 of the magazine by a weight 48 which rides on rollers 52. Backward movement of the weight is prevented by a tongue 53 thereon which engages a rack 54 on the magazine floor. The rollers 38 and 39 may be replaced by friction fingers and the weight by resilient means. Actuation of the rollers is by means of a pivotted lever 28 which turns a gear 27 (via pawl 33) and the gear rotates pinion 35 and 36 provided on the roller shafts. The magazine may be withdrawn through the rear aperture of cavity 4.
