Abstract

1430634 Absorbent compositions FMC CORP 9 May 1973 [5 June 1973] 22043/73 Heading C3F Absorbent fibres comprise regenerated cellulose with an alkali metal salt of polyacrylic acid dispersed in it. The salt is present to an extent of at least 5% (based on the weight of the cellulose) and such that the fluid holding capacity (as herein defined) of the fibres is at least 4À55 c.c./g.
