Abstract

1428239 Electrical resistance heaters CIBIE PROJECTEURS 15 March 1973 [8 June 1972] 12657/73 Heading H5H Electrical heating element I has slots 22 in support 20 between limbs of meander-form heating resistor 21, through which extends a bimetallic member B (and which carries heating element I). Resistance 21 is printed on thin flexible plastics support 20 and covered with varnish. Bimetallic member B passes alternately over and under the support 20 (see Fig. 2). When the bimetal bends, 11<SP>1</SP> in Fig. 2, the flexible heating element is carried with it. The device is stated to be suitable for monitoring, controlling and regulating purposes.
