Abstract
1427556 Radio signalling LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS GmbH 12 Nov 1973 [16 Nov 1972] 52340/73 Heading H4L In a radio communication system in which some of the stations are mobile and communication is via a selected one of a plurality of relay stations and an exchange, each relay station is provided with means for monitoring the received signal level and when the level falls below a predetermined value, for initiating the transfer of the communication to an adjacent relay station. The system described uses addresscoded multiplexing and correlation techniques. Each relay station is provided with a phaseshifter individual to each mobile station whereby the address coding is displaced by different amounts in different relay stations thus avoiding mutual interference if adjacent relay stations transmit the same message.
