Abstract

1424712 Cartons METAL BOX Ltd 14 Jan 1974 [7 Feb 1973] 6087/73 Heading B8P The blank of Fig. 1 is coated with moisture impervious material and is erected to form a carton by folding the corner gussets 22 against the outer faces of the side walls 3, folding the side wall flaps 5 over the gussets 22 and then folding the front flap 6 inwards to overlie the base panel 4. Each end of the flap 6 is connected to the adjacent corner gusset 22 by a fillet 18 which interlocks with the adjacent end of a side flap 5. A notch 17 in each flap 5 provides an edge against which the fillet 18 abuts.
