Abstract

140,570. Watt, J. M. Feb. 27, 1919. Bags.-A collapsible suit case or travelling bag has a rim to the lid, adapted to contain the body portion when in the collapsed position. Distancepieces are arranged in the corners to keep the bag extended. The bag is fastened by lugs 7, 8 passing through holes in the lid engaging with the ends of a rod 11, of which one end passes through the lug 7, and the other end over the lug 8. The fastening is secured by a padlock. The lugs 7, 8 may be arranged parallel to each other.
