Abstract
1359402 Determination of creatinine BOEHRINGER MANNHEIM GmbH 2 May 1972 [5 May 1971] 20371/72 Heading G1B In a process for the specific determination of creatinine an aqueous creatinine-containing solution is incubated with creatinine amidohydrolase at a pH value between 7À5 and 9, and either the creatine formed or the decrease of creatinine is determined in known manner. The creatine may be determined by conversion to urea by means of creatine amidohydrolase. A mixed reagent may contain creatine amidohydrolase and creatinine amidohydrolase. The creatine may alternatively be determined by phosphorylation; a mixed reagent may contain creatinine amidohydrolase, creatine kinase, lactate dehydrogenase, pyruvate kinase, magnesium chloride, phosphoenol pyruvate, ATP, NADH, and a buffer. The process is applicable to body fluids.
