Abstract

VC n comprises an arrangement P 1 ... P n for producing the tuning voltage, an arrangement, e.g. a frequency discriminator Tr 1 , D 1 , D 2 , rendered operative in the presence of a received signal for producing the AFC voltage which production is delayed, e.g. by elements D 3 to C 13 , for a period longer than sufficient for the tuning voltage to become effective on VC 1 ... VC n . The supply voltage for the frequency discriminator is derived from the input signal, preferably from line synchronizing pulses by a rectifier D 3 , the time constant of the smoothing circuit R 10 , C 13 delaying the application of the supply voltage for a period longer than the time constant of a filter C 2 to C 3 in the tuning voltage circuit. A voltage multiplier rectifier may be used instead of D 3 . Push button switches S 1 to S n may be replaced by a multiposition rotary switch.
