Abstract

1301582 Humidifying air FISHER & PAYKEL Ltd 31 March 1970 [31 March 1969] 15159/70 Heading B1R An apparatus for heating and humidifying air or gas comprises a container 12 for water having a cover 19 with air inlet 20 and outlet 13, and a thermostatically controlled electric heating element 31 on a body 35. Spring-urged at 32 into contact with the container 12, which contains a metal scroll 23 faced at 24 with blotting paper which dips into the water. Rings 27, 36 secure the parts 19, 12 and 12, 15 together through engaged lugs. A thermistor 40 actuates the element 31 in response to water temperature, and a safety thermostat 84 is provided.
