Abstract
1,172,977. Demodulators. PLESSEY CO. Ltd. 23 Nov., 1966 [23 Nov., 1965], No. 36252/69. Divided out of 1,172,974. Headings H3A and H3Q. In a demodulator of the type in which a modulated signal is multiplied by quadrature components of a locally generated carrier to produce two message components, the two components are fed to an inverse function generator which multiplies the first by the differential of the second, the second by the differential of the first, and then subtracts one product from the others to produce the required message signal.
