[Also in Divisions H1, H2 and H5] A tubular electrical resistance heater 130 is clamped between conductive channel elements 110, 112 provided with tubular pieces 111 with saw-tooth edges which pierce the insulating jacket 136 and enter the resistance material 132 of the heater. Each element 110, 112, comprises two L-shaped halves 114, 116, or 118, 120 secured together by nuts 126 and bolts 124.
