Abstract

A mass flow measuring device comprises a pair of buckets tiltable about a common horizontal axis such that as one bucket is being filled with the liquid or granular material being measured, the other bucket is being emptied, and a transducer for producing a pulse each time the buckets tilt. The transducer may be a magnet which co-operates with a reed switch, or it may be a photo-electric device.
