[Also in Division G4] In a fluid controlled device from which logic control devices may be assembled, fluid at a supply pressure PS at inlet 12 is reduced in pressure in flowing through a chamber 13, to an outlet 14 to atmosphere or a pressure sink Pa, by restrictors 20, 21 whereby a rubber diaphragm 18 may be sealed against a chamber ridge 16, to prevent flow to the outlet 14, by a control fluid pressure PC which is lower than PS enabling an output signal P 1 to be supplied by channel 23 at a pressure PS which is higher than PC and enabling a signal P 2 to be supplied by channel 24 which is the inverse of PC. The outputs 23, 24 may be used (Fig. 3, not shown) for positively controlling diaphragms 36, 37 respectively, connected in series in a low resistance fluid path between PS and atmosphere and supplying an outlet 35 located between the ridges of diaphragms 36, 37 whereby closure of diaphragm 18 closes diaphragm 36 to prevent flow to the outlet 35 and is accompanied by opening of diaphragm 37, and opening of diaphragm 18 permits opening of diaphragm 36 and closure of diaphragm 37 to supply outlet 35 with pressure at the supply PS. An OR device (Fig. 5, not shown) is formed by a plurality of diaphragm closure devices in series between resistances with an output PO taken from between the upstream restrictor and upstream diaphragm device and a NOR device (Fig. 6, not shown) is formed with the output taken from between the downstream restrictor and diaphragm device. AND and NAND devices (Figs. 7 and 8, not shown) are formed by a plurality of diaphragm devices, in parallel with the output PO which is respectively taken between the upstream and the downstream restrictor and the diaphragm devices.
