A vehicle body 7 has doors 1 and 6 hinged adjacent the end walls, a pair of doors 4, 5 hinged in a frame 9 and doors 2, 3 hinged in a frame 8, the frame 9 being slidable behind the frame 8 in runways extending the full length of the body so that when the doors 1 or 6 are opened the frames 8, 9 may be slid to one end of the body. Other arrangements of hinged and sliding doors are described.
