Abstract

An audio-visual content delivery system for delivering audio-visual content to a user terminal, such as a set top box, is disclosed, which comprises an object database for storing data relating to the audio-visual content, and means for accessing the audio-visual content in dependence on the data. Also, delivering audio-visual content a menu is generated for the user which contains programme data selected in dependence on predetermined criteria. This menu might also be displayed in dependence of stored date data.
