1. Field of the invention

The field of the invention is that of content management, for example images, video, audio, animation, text, etc., accessible by a terminal.

More precisely, the invention concerns the restitution of such content by a terminal, and the authorization of access to at least some of this content.

Such a terminal can be a fixed or mobile device, making it possible to render content, for example a computer, a tablet, a smartphone, etc.

2. Prior art

Conventionally, when a first user of a terminal wishes to share content, via his own terminal, with a second user located nearby (that is to say allow him to access this content via his terminal), he can lend his terminal (for example his smartphone) to the second user.

The second user can then navigate in the first user's terminal, and access more content than the content that the first user actually wanted to share with the second user, which poses a confidentiality problem.

A first solution consists of the first user keeping their terminal in hand, and themselves selecting the content they wish to share with the second user.

Such a solution is however restrictive and impractical, the second user being obliged to lean over and get very close to the first user to see and/or hear the rendered content.

A second solution consists of the first user manually creating sub-albums, opening a sub-album containing content that he wishes to share with the second user, then lending his terminal to the second user.

The second user can then browse the sub-album “authorized” by the first user. However, once the second user has the first user's terminal in hand, they can leave the authorized subalbum and access other content. In fact, nothing prevents the second user from consulting other albums. Once again there is a problem of confidentiality in access to content.

There is therefore a need for a new content restitution technique that does not present all of the disadvantages of the prior art.

3. Presentation of the invention

The invention proposes a new solution in the form of a method for managing the restitution of at least one content by a terminal of a first user, comprising:

• the selection, by said first user, via a man-machine interface of said terminal, of a first content adapted to be rendered by the terminal,
• detection of a change of user of the terminal, implemented during the selection of the first content or following the selection of the first content,
• the restitution by the terminal of at least a second content, selected taking into account at least one context information associated with the first content, implemented during the detection of a change of user or following the detection of 'a change of user.

The proposed solution thus allows a first user (for example the owner of the terminal, the main user of the terminal, a user having an account on the terminal or having unlocked access to the terminal, etc.) to limit the content shared with other users accessing their terminal. Thus, a current user of the terminal, distinct from the first user, does not have access to all of the contents of the first user, but only to a subset of the contents of the first user. In other words, the proposed solution makes it possible to restore, in at least certain embodiments, only content authorized “in advance” by the first user of the terminal.

To do this, the first user chooses a first piece of content that they wish to share. Context information associated with this first content can be obtained to select at least one second content, which can be rendered by the terminal when it is used by the current user. Note that, in at least certain embodiments, this selection does not require explicit authorization from the first user. For example, in certain embodiments, if the first content is a photograph of a mountain, all the photographs of mountains can be selected without specific action from the first user.

In other words, the proposed solution can help share content on a terminal, in a secure manner for the first user of the terminal.

According to a particular embodiment, the change of user is detected by means of at least one sensor associated with the terminal. Such a sensor can be integrated into the terminal, or coupled to the terminal via communication means.

According to a particular embodiment, at least one sensor integrated into the terminal is used to detect a change of user. In particular, one or more sensors can be activated upon detection of the opening of a particular application (for example opening of a multimedia gallery type application on the terminal or opening of an application dedicated to content management), detecting the selection of the first content, detecting a movement of the terminal, etc.

For example, the sensor belongs to the group including:

• an accelerometer,
• a gyroscope,
• a camera,
• a biometric sensor,
• a touch sensor,
• a microphone.

Thus, according to a first example, such a sensor is of the camera type. Optionally, a facial recognition module can be coupled with the terminal camera. According to a particular embodiment, said at least one piece of context information associated with the first content comprises at least one theme of the first content.

In particular, if several themes are associated with the same content, only content having at least one theme in common with the first content can be returned following a change of user. Alternatively, only content whose main theme is the same as that of the first content can be rendered. Alternatively, if several themes are associated with the same content, this content is filtered (i.e. here cannot be selected to be rendered), unless for example the current user is authenticated as being the first user.

According to a particular embodiment, said at least one piece of context information associated with the first content comprises at least one metadata associated with the first content.

For example, content having the same creation date as the first content, or a close creation date (for example of the order of a few days or a few weeks) can be selected to be returned. As a variant or addition, content having a geographical position close to the first content (for example of the order of a few kilometers or a few tens of kilometers) can be restored.

Indeed, we consider that if the first user authorizes the sharing of the first content, he probably wishes to authorize access to other content presenting similar or correlated metadata.

Conversely, according to certain embodiments, if a first content and a second content present a similar theme, but different metadata (for example two photos of the same place taken two years apart), the second content will not be not selected and cannot be returned to the terminal.

In particular, the context information may include both one or more metadata and one or more themes.

According to a particular embodiment, the selection of at least one second content takes into account a similarity between at least one of said context information associated with the first content and at least one context information associated with the second content.

According to this embodiment, it is thus possible to measure a similarity between the context information, for example by calculating metrics, and select the contents presenting a metric difference less than or equal to a first value, such as a threshold value (predetermined for example ), for example a value fixed by configuration.

5. Description of a particular embodiment

5.1 General principle

The general principle of the invention is based on obtaining at least one context information associated with a first content that a first user wishes to share on a terminal, and the automatic selection of other contents (at least one) which can also be shared by the first user, taking into account the context information associated with the first content.

Thus, only a second content selected taking into account the context information associated with the first content can be rendered by the terminal, if the current user of the terminal is not the first user.

The proposed solution thus implements detection of a user change. If no change of user is detected, i.e. if the current user of the terminal is still the first user, there are no restrictions on access to the content. On the other hand, if a change of user is detected, i.e. if the current user of the terminal is not the first user, there is a restriction of access to the content. Such a restriction can possibly be lifted if the first user gives specific authorization, or authenticates after a user change has been detected (for example using a password, a security sensor). biometric type…). 5.2 Description of an implementation example

An example of implementation of the invention is described below, according to which the contents are of the image/photograph type. As already indicated, other content, also called “media”, can be considered according to the invention, for example video, sound, text, etc.

The first user has a set of photos visible in the gallery of his terminal, for example family photos taken at home, family photos taken during a walk in the forest, photos of animals taken in a zoo, photos of animals taken in a museum, etc.

Different themes can be associated with these photos, either automatically (for example by software analysis of the content of the images), or manually (for example by adding a label or “tag” to the photo), or semi-automatically (for example by analysis software of the image content and manual correction of the proposed themes). Thus, family photos taken at home can be associated with the themes “family” and “house”, family photos taken during a walk in the forest can be associated with the themes “family”, “nature” and “forest ", photos of animals taken in a zoo can be associated with the themes "animal" and "zoo", photos of animals taken in a museum can be associated with the themes "animal", "museum", etc. In particular, it is possible to define a main theme and one or more secondary themes for the same photo. The first user selects, for example, a photo representing an animal from his gallery (first content), then lends his terminal to a second user. The terminal detects the user change and automatically modifies access rights to the gallery.

In particular, the terminal obtains at least one context information associated with the photo representing an animal (first content), corresponding to the content currently rendered at the time of detection of user change or to the last content rendered before detection of user change. user. For example, the gallery application can lock itself, and offer access only to the last rendered content or to a set of contents presenting similarities with the last rendered content. The filtering of authorized content is presented in more detail below, in connection with the filtering module.

In particular, such a user change detection module can in particular communicate with a current user identification module.

Such an identification module makes it possible in particular to check whether the current user of the terminal is the first user or another user.

Several techniques can be used to identify the current user of the terminal, depending on the technical capabilities of the terminal: biometric recognition (voice, touch, etc.), entering a code, drawing a pattern, etc.

Thus, the selection of at least one second content taking into account at least one context information associated with the first content, with a view to its restitution 13, can be implemented by a content filtering module. Such a module can thus establish a list of contents whose restitution by the terminal is authorized.

As already indicated, such a module can in particular take into account a similarity between at least one piece of context information associated with the first content (which corresponds to the last content rendered on the terminal before the detection of a change of user) and at least context information associated with the second content.

For example, such a filtering module implements steps of:

• obtaining at least one context information associated with the second content,
• comparison of at least one context information associated with the first content and at least one context information associated with the second content,

Metrics can in particular be determined to measure the similarity between context information.

For example, the context information compared is themes of the first and second contents, in particular the main themes of the first and second contents. As already indicated, certain content can be associated with several themes. For example, only content which has at least one theme in common with the first content can be selected and rendered by the terminal. Alternatively, contents which have at least a first percentage of common themes with the first content (for example 80% of common themes, this percentage being adjustable) can be selected and rendered by the terminal. This selection criterion can in particular be configured in the filtering module, for example by the first user or a trusted third party, or be a default criterion.

In some embodiments, the compared context information is metadata of the first and second content (e.g. the location and/or date of creation of the first and second content).

In other embodiments, the selection of at least one second content also takes into account at least one piece of information relating to the current user of the terminal.

The filtering module therefore makes it possible to analyze the different contents associated with the terminal and to identify those which meet the filtering criteria.

In at least one embodiment, the first user can, before lending his terminal to another user, define certain filtering criteria, for example by himself choosing the metadata and/or themes to be taken into account in the filtering of the contents. For example, the themes of the first content selected by the first user can be dynamically presented to the first user, who can manually choose, via a man-machine interface, the theme(s) to which he wishes to authorize access, and thus accelerate creation. of an ephemeral sub-gallery.

The filtering module can in particular communicate with the user change detection module. In particular, if this last module detects the presence of several people near the terminal, and the first user is not part of this group of people, the filtering module can authorize access only to the first content. Alternatively, the filtering module can authorize access to the first content and to at least one second content selected by taking into account at least one piece of context information associated with the first content. This is again a selection criterion which can be configured in the filtering module, for example by the first user, or be a default criterion.

The different user change detection, identification and filtering modules can communicate with each other. They may in particular implement artificial intelligence to identify a current user, recognize a current user in content, determine the theme(s) associated with content, determine the metadata(s) associated with content, compare context information, etc.

A user interface can also be implemented so that the terminal user can interact with these different modules.

For example, such an interface can be used to configure filter criteria, define profiles, themes, associate themes with content, etc. Such an interface can also be used to display a list of the second content(s) selected and adapted to be rendered by the terminal.

In a particular embodiment, such an interface makes it possible to manage the functionalities authorized in relation to a user profile. For example, depending on the user profile detected (first user, child, friend, etc.), gallery management parameters can be adjusted (gallery display duration, prohibited themes, etc.).

5.3 Simplified structure of a terminal

We now present, in relation to the , the simplified structure of a terminal according to at least one embodiment described above.

As illustrated in , such a terminal comprises at least one memory 31 comprising a buffer memory, at least one processing unit 32, equipped for example with a programmable calculation machine or with a dedicated calculation machine, for example a processor P, and controlled by the computer program 33, implementing steps of the method for managing the restitution of at least one content according to at least one embodiment of the invention.

At initialization, the code instructions of the computer program 33 are for example loaded into a RAM memory before being executed by the processor of the processing unit 32.

The processor of the processing unit 32 implements steps of the process for managing the restitution of at least one content described previously, according to the instructions of the computer program 33, for:

• select, via a man-machine interface of said terminal, a first content adapted to be rendered by said terminal,
• detect a change of user of said terminal,
• restore at least one second content, selected taking into account at least one context information associated with said first content.

Claims (10)

Method for managing the restitution of at least one content by a terminal of a first user, comprising:

• a selection (11), by said first user, via a man-machine interface of said terminal, of a first content adapted to be rendered by said terminal,
• a detection (12) of a change of user of said terminal, implemented during said selection or following said selection,
• a restitution (13), by said terminal, of at least one second content selected taking into account at least one context information associated with said first content, implemented during said detection or following said detection.

Method according to claim 1, characterized in that said user change is detected by means of at least one sensor associated with said terminal. Method according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that said at least one piece of context information associated with the first content comprises at least one theme of said first content. Method according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that said at least one piece of context information associated with the first content comprises at least one metadata associated with said first content. Method according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the selection of at least one second content takes into account a similarity between at least one of said context information associated with said first content and at least one context information associated with said second content. Method according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the selection of at least one second content also takes into account at least one piece of information relating to the current user of said terminal. Method according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that it comprises a parameterization phase, during which the context information associated with content capable of being rendered by said terminal is identified.
