Abstract

Figure de l’abrégé : FIGURE 1The invention relates to a method for capturing flying insects by a device (3) with emission of carbon dioxide simulating human breathing, the insects being attracted by the emission and retained by a capture means (7a) of the device (3 ). Previous or current meteorological parameters have been selected which positively or negatively influence a number of insects present in an environment of carbon dioxide emission, a model for estimating the number of insects present being developed from the parameters past or current weather. An emission rate is regulated automatically according to the estimation model. Abstract Figure: FIGURE 1
