Abstract

L’invention présente un procédé et un système d’assistance à la navigation d’un véhicule (5) sur un réseau routier (7) à partir d’une carte de navigation (1) du réseau routier définissant le réseau routier comme un ensemble d’itinéraires possibles. Chaque itinéraire comprend au moins deux évènements successifs formant une liste d’évènements successifs, chaque évènement étant en outre associé à une position géographique sur le réseau routier, et chaque évènement de la liste d’évènements successifs est défini par un type d’évènement déterminé parmi une pluralité de types d’évènements. A partir de la carte de navigation du réseau routier, le véhicule est capable de se géolocaliser sans nécessiter l’utilisation d’un module GNSS.
