Système de surveillance (9) d’un appareil hydraulique, comprenant une housse (1) munie d’une partie centrale (2) prévue pour envelopper l’appareil et un dispositif de détection pour une détection d’une fuite d’eau sur l’appareil, comprenant : - une manche interne réalisée dans un matériau textile imperméable, s’étendant à l’intérieur de la partie centrale, et présentant une ouverture pourvue d’un système de serrage périphérique pour un serrage autour de l’appareil ; - un capteur de présence d’eau (7) disposé dans la housse au-dessus de ladite ouverture et en communication avec l’intérieur de la manche interne pour détecter une présence d’eau fuitant de l’appareil au-dessus de l’ouverture et s’accumulant dans une poche formée dans la manche interne et autour de l’appareil ; et - un module de contrôle (8) raccordé audit capteur de présence d’eau pour recevoir et traiter un signal de détection de présence d’eau généré par ledit capteur de présence d’eau.
